Group Piano Classes
Ages 4 and up
Group piano classes provide an engaging and collaborative environment where students can learn alongside peers who share similar interests. These lessons focus on developing fundamental piano skills, rhythm, ear training, and music theory in a fun and interactive setting.

β
More affordable than private lessons while still receiving quality instruction
β
Small class sizes ensure individual attention from the instructor

Students stay accountable through peer interaction and group progress
β
Provides a clear learning path with measurable progress over time
The commitment to a group program encourages discipline, responsibility, and consistent practice, which are essential for long-term musical growth.
π΅ 6. Opportunity to Form Friendships
β
Meet and connect with like-minded students who share a love for music
β
Foster lifelong friendships through collaborative learning
β
Creates a positive and encouraging environment for musical growth
Music is meant to be shared! Group classes give students a chance to form friendships, work together, and support each other's musical journeys.
π΅ 7. Smooth Transition to Private Lessons or Advanced Studies
β
Ideal for beginners who may later transition to private lessons
β
Helps develop foundational skills before committing to one-on-one instruction

How Group Piano Classes Are Formed
π΅ Age & Experience Level
Students are grouped based on their age range and piano experience to ensure an appropriate learning pace. Groups typically include:
Young Beginners (Ages 4β6) β Fun, interactive classes introducing rhythm, finger exercises, and basic melodies.
Elementary Level (Ages 7β10) β Students working on note reading, coordination, and foundational skills.
Pre-Teen & Teen (Ages 11β16) β Focus on technique, musical expression, and building repertoire.
Adult Beginners β For those starting or returning to piano in a relaxed, social setting.
π΅ Learning Goals & Interests
To keep students motivated, groups are formed based on their goals and interests, such as:
β
Playing for fun and personal enjoyment
β
Preparing for performance opportunities
β
Focusing on music reading and technique development
β
Exploring improvisation and creative playing
π΅ Scheduling & Availability
Groups are also determined based on lesson availability and student scheduling preferences. When registering, students can indicate their preferred days and times, and we will do our best to match them with a compatible group.
π΅ Forming a Group with Friends or Siblings
Students who wish to form their own group with friends or siblings can request to be placed together. The group must meet the minimum of 2 students and follow the standard tuition rates.
π΅ Individual Placement & Waitlist
If a student registers and an appropriate group is not available immediately, they will be placed on a waitlist until a suitable class forms. Alternatively, they may choose private lessons until a group opens up.
